Country Culture Profile: Australia
This assignment was a team effort. I partnered with Cynthia, a colleague in my cohort, on this task.
The objective of this assignment was to undertake a market study of Australia as a country to explore the prospects for the Canadian Coffee Giant, 'Tim Horton's" to set up operations in Australia.
We made an interesting presentation on the country, covering aspects such as the population, religion, currency, language, health care, skilled labor market, standards of living, customs and traditions, holidays, taxes, transportation, and education.
We then analyzed the prospects for Tim Horton's inĀ Australia based on the business case of another American Coffee chain, 'Starbucks.'
It was an enjoyable assignment that brought out Ph. D program standard 6.
